Make Your Own Lefse
Just in time for the holidays, learn how to make homemade lefse, the beloved Norwegian delicacy traditionally served at banquets, holidays, weddings, and other special occasions. If you’ve always wanted to recreate Grandma’s recipe but never wrote down her tips and techniques, this class is for you. Starting with real potatoes, you’ll explore several authentic recipes along with a modern version using instant potatoes. Along the way, you’ll learn rolling, cooking, and handling techniques that help create soft, flavorful lefse every time. Enjoy sampling your fresh, warm creations with traditional fillings, and take home both finished lefse and dough to enjoy later. A supply fee of $9 is payable to the instructor during class.
