Baby and Toddler Outdoor Play Time 900-17C Meet new friends or connect with those you already know as you explore our outdoor play spaces with your baby or toddler. For babies, you will get some tummy time ideas and see how to set up the environment to encourage rolling, sitting, or crawling. Toddlers will have access to great movement activities that meet their need to climb and explore with their whole bodies! Come when you can and join the fun! Caregivers and children will enjoy a variety of activities planned by an early childhood teacher. Grandparents and other children are welcome! Children and caregivers will stay together throughout the class. *These classes begin Sept, 10th and 11th, respectively.

Young children are natural explorers! In this special fall class, you and your child will discover the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) together. We'll do fun, hands-on activities that help your child observe and interact with the world around them. Over four Saturday mornings between Sept. and December, you and your child will explore exciting topics: planting without seeds, apples, wood, including creating with some wooden toys, and magnets! Plus, 2 bonus virtual sessions for parents only. We'll share the amazing ways your child is growing and learning through STEM activities. This class is FREE and supported through a generous grant from The Partnership Plan. Plus 3 optional parent-ed sessions: Thursdays, Oct. 8 & Nov 12, 8:15-9:15 pm This class is for those who live within the boundaries of Stillwater Schools, since it’s grant-funded through the Partnership Plan. Step into the rhythm of family fun! This dynamic class is designed to engage both parents and children in a playful exploration of movement, music, and coordination. From lively dance sessions to interactive games, each class is a joyful celebration of physical activity that strengthens the parent-child connection. This class does not contain a parenting discussion portion.

Playing outside promotes curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Studies have found that children who spent more time in nature exploration had improved learning outcomes. Come join us to learn together outdoors at Belwin at the Hilltop Classroom Trails! Each session will begin with a land acknowledgment and a nature-themed story that will guide our time together. There will be a combination of guided exploration and open-ended nature play. We will meet rain or shine, and it is held fully outdoors.Outdoor gear is available for children when needed.
