Stillwater Middle School Pony Power & Speed ProjectAthleticsNewCombination Strength & Speed Training for Grades 6–12. New this year, we’re introducing a combined training program that includes both Pony Power & Performance and our new Pony Speed Project. This enhanced program combines our complete strength training system with high-speed incline treadmill training. Running at higher speeds on an incline helps improve stride length, stride frequency, and overall running mechanics while reinforcing proper technique. The result is increased speed, explosiveness, and more efficient movement. Pony Speed Project sessions are led by trained running coaches who operate the treadmills and provide individualized instruction to student-athletes. These 45-minute treadmill sessions will take place before, during, or after your scheduled Pony Power & Performance training group. Treadmill session schedules will be organized during the first week of the program. This training isn’t just for elite athletes. In fact, slower or less technically sound athletes often make the biggest gains, because overspeed helps them discover efficient movement patterns at high velocity. Pony Power & Pony Speed Project will help athletes build strength, power and now add speed, coordination, and confidence — fast! Grades 6–12 | All sports | All Ability LevelsFall 2026
